longer index probable traits now. I'm addicted to examining everyone's digit ratio and i've come to confirm most of what is said here.

just to be clear, it's statistical. so if you have long index fingers and love math don't be nervous. it so happens one of my friends who's best on maths has a longer index.

I'm fairly certain most of these proxies are statistical anomalies or genetic drift. Certainly not causal, in any case.

the ring finger length is related to Testosterone being found in the fetus. so more "manly" qualities are corelated with a long fnger.

It's a nice correlation but don't go overboard if it's the other way around with you.

I'm fairly certain that upon inspection, which digit is higher and therefore looks longer depends entirely on how my hand is positioned. I can make either one look longer, so the joke is on you.

The intention isn't to prove cause, only correlation =P. I think there's enough evidence that we can say it's not a statistical anomaly. If it's genetic drift, then good, that proves the point. Even though this doesn't apply to you, that doesn't really prove anything. After all, there are always bound to be outliers.
