Evolution relies entirely on random chance, but Einstein said that God didn't play with dice. So who was right, Darwin or Einstein?

>> No.3878819

evolution relies on survival of the fittest, not random chance

"survival of the fittist" is why the Nazis wanted to kill Jews like Einstein.

no, they wanted to kill Jews because they believed in Eugenics, not survival of the fittest.

Seriously, get your facts straight. You're making yourself look like an idiot.

I remember this pasta.

>taking quotes of scientists out of context
>in their original contexts, they referred to separate areas of science entirely
>even so, a quote from Einstein is not a scientific theory anyway

Darwin.

>survival of the fittest
Actually it's more like reproduction of the fittest. It wasn't even Darwin who coined the phrase.

>Darwin or Einstein?

THEY WERE BOTH THIEVES OF OTHER PEOPLES WORK.

>> No.3878868

when in doubt, einstein is always right

randomness is an expression of our inability to see all the strings

of course it's not random

or, if you like:

"It is
a mathematical fact that the casting of this pebble from my hand alters
the centre of gravity of the Universe." Carlyle again

>> No.3879216

Einstein was referring to physics when he said god, because supposedly "random" events in space can be predicted mathematically because of physics.

Therefore not so random and the quote "God doesn't play with dice"

its something like that anyway

The funny thing is, God does, and the dice are loaded.

Einstein was arguing that quantum mechanics doesn't work. Your cellphone proves Einstein wrong.

Lolno. Cellular technology can be explain without using quantum effects.

> So who was right, Darwin or Einstein?

Both were right.

Darwin was right since evolution is driven by the random chance of mutations.

Einstein was right since when he said "God didn't play with dice", that's logically correct, since this "god" thing doesn't exist in the first place, and a nonexistent thing can't play with dice, as well as being unable to do anything else.

Einstein was referring to his belief that quantum physics must be ordered by law, not by stochastics. He was wrong in this, as shown by among others Heisenberg and Bohr.

Now stop confusing evolution with physics like some creationist.
