Jocks all "Hey baby watch me eat" and im all "Hey baby come have a look at andromeda galaxy" thats all it takes for her to be down to fuck.

Its actually surprising how telescopes can actually score you hot chicks aslong as you are not an idiot.

A telescope is more of a Phallic symbol than a car.

Dude are you joking? 95% of guys when asking a girl out normally say something along the lines of movie/coffee/meal.

Compare that to asking a girl if shes up for grabbing a few beers, toasting some marshmallows on a fire while checking out other galaxies, planets, stars they will melt for you.

You can make astronomy sound pretty sexy especially when most girls are used to being asked out to see some cliché movie.

And most girls are dumb you can make half the shit up, like check out this planet NASA believe aliens live there, or just go all deep about how you love telescopes and finding your place in the universe or some shit THEY EAT IT UP.

This is true, problem for me is though is it actually works, we go star gazing I show her some stuff via the telescope she actually seems to love it and then as soon as I realise im getting somewhere I panic and fuck it up.

GO LOW CONFIDENCE.

I read this and went "oh I know bla bla who I worked with on the Bla project" Then I remembered where I was.
The tour guides get the better end of the deal with the females. "Do you want to polish my telescope?" was my pick up line but it never worked (even on my wife)!

Hey! I visited the SkyWatcher website and I could not find the model 200P/1200 anywhere, the cunts.

Does anybody have its specs? Right now I'm just assuming that its a 1200mm, but what aperture, and is it a Dobsonian, what?

Actually very curious

>> No.3807759

>>3807755
I just did a wee google search. It looks like it is an 8" dob. The 1200 is the focal length which is a little strange I have not seen a telescope with the focal length in the name before.

Thanks for the info. Not having seen one in person, I imagine that it's not musch bigger than a Questar, which used to be (in my mind anyway) the lodestar of small but powerful telescopes, and I would guess that its planetary viewing capabilities are awesome

The nomenclature is odd, I agree
