Two grad students had a bad breakup, the type where the girl was crushed, psycho, mad with hatred, and guy was like 'Meh'.
She filled a syringe with radioactive P-32 (for labeled DNA probes) and injected it into the foam of the chair at his desk. She didn't tell me about it until dozens of half-lives later - no remorse, no glee, just the same seething hatred, undiminished by time.

Once I was mixing up some arsenic supercyanide solution but a bird flew in through the window and knocked it into a centrifuge. Everybody in the lab died (myself included). The bird was okay, though.
