I read an article one time about a guy who was a pedophile and sexual with children, then while he was in prison they found a tumor in his brain and operated on it. Suddenly his pedophile urges went away.
A few months later, however, he started having sexual feelings for children again, and when they did an MRI, they found that they'd missed a piece of the tumor and it had grown back.

The guy who climbed the tower at the University of Texas and shot all those people back in the 1960s also had a brain tumor. Most people who knew him well said that in the few months leading up to that attack, his personality and behavior changed and he started acting not like himself.

Moral of the story: the brain controls everything we do, think, and are. If something is wrong with our brain, then something we can change drastically from ourselves.
I have no problems with gays, but I'm not so homophobic-phobic that I can't acknowledge they're actions go against the natural order of our species. They are the exceptions to the rule; the "queer" ones if you will. Something has to be causing that - something must be "wrong" with their brain chemistry in order to cause them to have no sexual desires for women.
I mean look at this pic... It just makes me want to procreate all night and prolong our race's survival. It's a necessary biological imperative.

Regardless, most mammalian species have at least a 5% homosexual population and their species are doing fine.

There's no question that the brain is clearly involved in pedophilia, sexuality etc.

But a simple tumor? I think the 'problem' is much more complex than just "this tumor is causing an increase in a few of these chemicals.' A slight change in structure will rarely result in a large change in personality.

There's also the fact that sexuality isn't set in stone even among 'healthy' people. Shades of grey everywhere and it's easy to find a new fetish.

There is a part of the brain called the sexually dimorphic nucleus that is larger in heterosexual males then in heterosexual females. Homosexual males have a SDN resembling that of heterosexual females and vis versa with homosexual females and heterosexual males. My hypothesis is that the stroke may have damaged his SDN to the point that what remains that functions is small enough to inhibit his normal male mind and instead function as essentially a female brain.
