Find all whole positive numbers besides 0 and 1 so that 1/x + 1/y + 1/z = 1

If you're going to reply with "homework thread sage" could you at least tell me what chapter is this so I can learn how to do it?

I think it's satire based on the less outlandish ads such as:

>How many triangles are in this picture?
>9 in every ten people get this wrong

IE. Those images are (likely) just a joke.

why did they make the original quizzes

They made the original quizes so people will count the triangles, get the right answer and think "wow, I'm smarter than 9/10 people!" and follow the ad.

It's just an appeal to vanity. Funnily enough, it's the idiots that will fall for it.

It's similar to those online IQ tests that give inflated scores and charge $10 for a breakdown of your result and an 'official' IQ certificate. People do it, get a good score that doesn't actually reflect their IQ and get so excited they want to show it off. It would actually only work on a small number of people, but it's basically free cash when it does. And again, mostly idiots.

okay, new question.

why am I not already bilking idiots if these things work well enough to pay for their own adspace?

OP here. The pic I posted isn't fake I've seen it as an actual ad on mediafire.

>MySpace period

That's where this originates from. Basically, you're right, idiots fall for this crap if you shove enough compliments in their face.
