Actually, only psychiatrists have to take biology because psychologists are not allowed to prescribe meds. Psychiatrists can. Although in most instances, psychologists act in conjunction with MD's who can prescribe meds, so it's really a moot point anyway.

Whatever it was in the past, they are not seen that way now. The argument could be made that historically, trade was seen as non-genteel that Warren Buffett is lower on the prestige scale than someone who owns a few hundred acres of land since they would have had more prestige in the past.

100 years ago doctors were king shit. Now they are declining but your line of reasoning is not why.
