Hello fellow people of /sci/ ,

Coming from Copenhagen...

It appears the city water is contaminated with, "unaccetably high levels of E. Coli." So much so, that it is reconmended to not even wash ourselves or come into contact with this water. Now propose that the polution came from the area of Nørrebro, and the other red area is where my friend and I last drank water several hours ago. Is it possible we have been infected or has the diesease not spread to our area before drank it?

Earlier today there alot of sirens but it seems they have quiet down.

Cause of concern to worry or not?

At worst it will cause a short lived gastroenteritis, it wont kill you.
No, it is unlikely you were infected as water is always kept under surveillance in first world countries, an outbreak will be noticed almost immediately.

Some special kind of E.Coli did kill recently in Europe.

You should probably see a doctor if you're worried.
I suggest getting your feces tested.

Yes, but that case was entirely different. If I remember correctly, it was mutated and had never been seen before.

>E. Coli.
really? you have some in you anyway, and dome more isnt going to do shit. i once liked a patry dish full of it just to prove that. our professor also did a study by giving everyone either some E. Coli. or some other thing, and asked the following week if anyone got sick, and the same amount from each group got "sick". more poeple are going to get "sick" becuase of the panic than from the E. Coli.

drink large amounts of bleach immediately as a precaution

Yeah there are various sorts of E.Coli.
If those ones are common, then there isn't much issue.

>>3592989
The K12 E.Coli used in labs isn't going to hurt you of course.

Yes the placebo effect, could be making me sick than I actually am.

The authorities want us to boil water before we use it for cleaning cloths/dishes/vetables and cooking. Tommorrow they will publish the testsand inform its citizens if this is a necessary step.

Thanks for your answers. I was going to calculate diffusion rate, it seems I won't, hopefully.
