Theory:
The human brain is from another planet across the universe and had crashed on this planet because it found a useful body to take over (the monkeys) and evolve it.

This is why our brains are so large in comparison because our brains have been around forever, but the human body has just recently (relatively) been evolved due to stimulation from the brain.

This explains why some species are still monkeys and they are not as smart. This also explains why we're the only species who does science on this planet.
