A potato is 80% water. How many fresh potatoes does it take to produce 25 lbs of dehydrated potatoes?

One very large potato.

if you assume that each potato weighs 1 pound then 125 but thats making a very stupid assumption.

no such assumption is made, the answers were in weight, not numbers.

>> No.3565264

these are data sufficiency questions. when you dry the potato does anything but water evaporate. How big is a potato? Does all the water evaporate. Are you adding BHT and MSG to your dried potatoes? Are rats eating any of the pototoes when you dry them? How many potatoes does it take to make a quart of vodka. If I drink vodka made of grain instead of potatoes will I get just as drunk. If potatoes come from Peru, why was there an Irish potato famine? Why can't the Irish just live on oats and sheep stomachs like the Scotch do?
