Additional data: The ice sun has a temperature of exactly -1,000 F and the lava sun has a temperature of exactly +1,000 F.

>> No.3558292

Not sure if just stupid or troll... or high.

>> No.3558296

nothing, the suns would reach the same temperature again in less than a second and when they collide they would form a sun with twice the mass that would likely turn into a red giant as the core fills with elements heavier than hydrogen

>> No.3558297

and that temperature doesn't vary as a function of depth?

and what are the masses of these masses?
velocities when they collide?

i'm guessing we'll run into an impossible hypothetical if questions keep coming up and being answered...so...

long story short, thermal equilibrium.

x = LAVA
y = ICE
z = COLLISION STUFF (you need a phd to understand)

(x + y)*z = x + y*z

= LAVA IS OVERTAKEN BY ICE COLLISION POWER, SO THE SUN FREEZES WITH AN ICE EXTERIOR SHELL, BUT HAS A LAVA CORE, GIVING WAY TO NEW IMMEDIATE LIFEFORMS LIKE HUMANS AND MONKEYS (JUST MY GAUSS BUT ALL EVIDENCE ON EARTH SHWOS THIS IS TRUE) WHO SURVIVE IN A HOT ENVIRONMENT THAT IS COOLED BY ICE

ICE/FIRE IS THE YIN/YANG OF A SPIRITUAL WORLD, IT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU CANCEL OUT MASS YOU'RE LEFT WITH TOTAL BALANCE OF THE WORLD AND NEW LIFE IS BORN. SOMETHING CANNOT COME OUT OF NOTHING, SO SOMETHING MUST HAVE MADE THE TWO SUNS COLLIDE! BY NEWTON'S LAWS THIS IS TRUE. ALSO BY THE SECOND LAW OF THERMODINO-MICS DISORDER MUST HAPPEN SO THE TWO MUST COLLIDE IT'S TOTAL FATE.

I STUDY ASTROBIOLOGY AND GRADUATED FROM MED SCHOOL SO I KNOW THIS IS TRUE. MY LIFE PARTNER, AN ENGINEER, ALSO SAYS THIS IS TRUE. FUCK STEVEN HAWKING HE'S IN A WHEELCHAIR. I TOOK AN ONLINE IQ TEST AND IT PROVED ME RIGHT.

Lava isn't lava at 1000 F, it's solid rock

Need to know:
specific heat of ice and "lava"
total mass and/or volume of the sun
density
velocity

Also, the specific heat of ice is almost half of liquid water (per unit mass)

>> No.3558398

>>3558390
The enormous gravity would mean the temperature would quickly return to that of a sun. Either a new sun will be formed depending on the proportion of elements composing the lava and ice, most likely a red giant. Or the sun will possibly collapse due to lack of fusion then explode once density reaches the point where helium and heavier elements can fuse into iron.

How exactly are ice and lava achieving fusion?

>> No.3558443

>>3558436
They collapse under their gravity changing them from lava or ice into balls of plasma composed of their constituent elements.
