/sci/, I'm a biochemistry major. My best friend is a business major. We were discussing random topics and happened to stumble across the topic of animals. He honestly believed snakes and turtles had no bones. Am I expecting too much from non-science majors or is this not common knowledge?

I didn't think so either, but he was insulted at my shock and dismay. Our frames of reference are a bit skewed in comparison to normal folk though.
