To become a doctor you'll need to study medicine, not biology.

I knew a premed who was English major and another who majored in astrophysics. I'm sure they both are doing well in med school.

Love all the highschool kiddies who continue to think biology is nothing more than sitting outside counting birds.

Even more hilarious are the kiddies who think there are distinct lines between physics, biology, and chemistry. How adorable! I remember when I was still a science plebian.

Protip: Research biochemistry and biophysics, boys.

>Protip: Research biochemistry and biophysics, boys.

Both incorporate methods from fields other than biology; chemistry and physics respectively. This would imply their "hardness" comes from the addition of methods from non-biological sciences. So I seriously hope you're not using biochemistry and biophysics as some sort of vindication of biology.

the only 'hard' science is mathematics then surely?
if all other scientific fields stem from it.
pointless discussion anyway. try telling the doctor saving your life that his time spent studying anatomy was time wasted on a 'bullshit soft science'.

No, it's not. Physics and chemistry are hard sciences, in addition to mathematics.

Do you even know what biology is?

From wiki:

Biology is a natural science concerned with the study of life and living organisms, including their structure, function, growth, origin, evolution, distribution, and taxonomy.

There you have it. Biology is JUST LIKE CHEMISTRY AND PHYSICS, except that it studies NATURAL SYSTEMS which work on the LAWS CHEMISTRY AND PHYSICS DO.

Get it through your head.
