Breaking news about Rossi's energy catalyzer:

http://www.journal-of-nuclear-physics.com/?p=501&cpage=9#comment-59867

Rossi's company EFA terminated the relationship with Defkalion, this means no 1 MW plant in october in Greece, Rossi claims that it will be in America instead.

This is pretty disappointing, and just deepens the circus that's goes around this.

I think you are going to find that this thing will circle the drain for a while until all the investors become disillusioned.

Just trying to make sense of the split, we should consider who would gain from that?

On one hand Rossi has a constract in the Usa with Ampenegro, and if he got a better deal he could decide to do that instead, since as far as we know the original deal was that money only will change hands when the 1 MW plant will be delivered. This scenario is clearly beneficial to Rossi but clearly bad for Defkalion.

Another possibility is the Defkalion reverse engineered the reactor and they think they don't need Rossi any more, and could do this on their own. Rossi said that Delkalion doesn't know this, but Defkalion claimed that they extensively tested the units and achived at least 19 times the imput energy every time. In this case Defkalion counts on the fact that Rossi won't be able to secure the patent, and they could do everything without him. This could be parallel to the first scenario.

or, most likely, Defkalion finally realized it didn't work.

Wait.

Where's the scenario where Defkalion smelled bullshit and terminated the relationship before more capital was wasted? You did mention money only changing hands when Rossi delivered, but this doesn't sound right - SOMEONE has to provide the capital to get the first plant going. Are you sure that Defkalion stood to lose *nothing* by continuing the relationship if Rossi failed to deliver?

I thought it was prettymuch decided that these guys were scammers.

It was. But there are still some investors and business relationships that haven't collapsed yet.

This is getting harder to be seen in a positive light, there are contradictions in Rossi's and Defkalions statements, and Rossi's explanation that this is just a financial matter doesn't seem believable.
