Can someone recommend a good laptop for uni?

Doesn't need to run games.. just want it to last for as long as possible, and be afffordable

Whats the minimum memory i should get? And what are the most reiable brands: Dell, HP?

I got it to replace my Acer Aspire 1410 that I got for $200 too, it's really great. Anyway, just get Acer because I usually see those are pretty cheap and really good.

11" and 2gb or 4gb of RAM and a full size keyboard with a 250gb hard drive is all you really need and that's what you get from Acer
