Can someone recommend a good laptop for uni?

Doesn't need to run games.. just want it to last for as long as possible, and be afffordable

I got it to replace my Acer Aspire 1410 that I got for $200 too, it's really great. Anyway, just get Acer because I usually see those are pretty cheap and really good.

You need about 7 ghz of HD Ram and a 40 petaflop HDD with 70 Megabytes of CPU's if you're going to run an intense video game, like Crysis, or a spreadsheet for instance.

I guess the screen shouldn't be too large. You probably want some mobility. So 14 inch or something.

11" and 2gb or 4gb of RAM and a full size keyboard with a 250gb hard drive is all you really need and that's what you get from Acer
