Reposting question because aspies completely missed the point.

If you could take a drug that would make you feel exactly like you wanted to feel for the rest of your life - that means, if you wanted hedonistic bliss or if you wanted to take over the world and murder everyone or if you wanted a life of fluctuating depression and happiness, it would make you feel exactly like that - would you take it?

Those saying no, because it's not reality, how is that different from life, which is basically a the same as drug except the drug you've been given has a random effect, and you have little to no control over it?

Yes, I'd take it.

Absolutely I would. Anyone who wouldn't is flat out retarded.

Could I stop taking it later, if I changed my mind?

>> No.3466861

Yes I would take it.

>> No.3466867

No, because I have ceded control over whether this state continues to those around me.

I'd probably stop drinking water and die within a week.

If you wanted to stop taking it, it would give you the illusion of you having stopped taking it.

Do you believe this is different from stopping the effects for "real"?

So is this a delusion pill, or a feel good pill.

>reposting question because I was unable to clearly communicate my point. I'll blame my inadequacy on aspies

interesting question. I naturally have a strong will, I suppose that'd be included in "how I feel". I'm pretty happy with how I am so i wouldn't need to change anything.

why're you on 4chan then? where did you went wrong?

>> No.3468396

No because I wouldn't want to feel the same for all of my life.

>> No.3468443

Yes. If I could tailor my levels of motivation, my reward systems, my pain or grief response, of course. And I'd tailor it at first to make sure I learned NOT to turn on happy all the time.

>> No.3468453

I would take it.

>make you feel exactly like you wanted to feel for the rest of your life
It's impossible to say no to this scenario.

Sure, I'd give it a go. If it doesn't turn out that good I'd stop taking it but Its worth a try for sure!

>> No.3468464

If it made me feel focused and driven to work hard all the time then hell yeah I would.
Bring it on

>> No.3468490

would the drug make me do the things in my thoughts? because that wouldn't be cool. if not and it was just good then i dunno why i would. not reality? what drugs?

Nope, I explained it well enough for some people, the rest just couldn't read. See >>3468396
