Sometimes I can't wrap my head around certain concepts in physics. Is this normal? Or are you supposed to fully understand everything that comes your way?

>> No.3455244

physics is essentially a branch of philosophy; long winded bullshit that doesn't make sense and really doesn't mean anything

tl;dr physics is pseudoscience bullshit

unless it happened after 1905, no.

Quite a lot of physics is unintuitive. Same with mathematics.

Our "intuition" is only good for not getting eaten by lions on the African savannah.

Thanks, I thought it was me being stupid. It doesn't always happen but it does everyone in a while

you seem to be confusing physics with psychology

define what constitutes the material of your confusion. then we can talk.

....Not fully understanding something...? Like it doesn't have that "click" feel, you know?

Yes , physics are very hard to understand. That is a fact.
Most of the time, when something in physics really fuck with yopur brain, it means that it requires a redefinition of what you thought you knew about physics.
Simply put: you can understand physics to a certain level, without being really knowledgeable, once you reach a certain point, words and concepts become ambiguous , confusing for the layman so certain, if not most of , explanations won't be satisfying, will seems unlogical, obviously fake, science-fiction-ish.
Re-read serious papers, search for different explanations of the same principles, find one that will make you understand.

I blame pop-science for this.

you did not quantitatively specify my question; i asked for the precise material in which you feel is unintuitive.

>> No.3455319

I didn't understand shit when I first took physics so yes. It is normal.
