Biology master race reporting in.

Math and physics are pointless to learn, it's just a bunch of useless knowledge that can only be taught to more math and physics students in an endless cycle of idiocy.

Chemistry is just stretching the field of biology a little farther than it needs to be stretched, but I guess some chemistry is useful.

Engineers are necessary, but are the zombies of science.

Sure, I might not ever make as much as you, but how does it feel knowing that anything you study will never be as fulfilling and rich as what I have studied. When I die I'll know I studied something sensational while you braindead pencil-pushers spent all of your time sucking your professors dick to get a PhD.

Pic related, a mere glimpse into the glorious field that is Biology.

Gotta admit, I raged. 8/10.

On a more serious note, I don't give two flying fucks about what is useful/useless. Abstract, rich theories are the purest form of beauty, just take classical Galois theory as an example.
When I die I'll know that I have looked into the deepest, most complicated abyss of knowledge our human mind could produce (no, I'm not talking about classical Galois theory anymore).

Yes, I realize this is a troll thread.
I truly believe that all fields of science are equally important. Yes, even you Biology. Some of the coolest, most breathtaking pieces of mathematics were directly inspired by studying nature. I'm talking about fractals and chaos theory and all that. Heck, evolution is a prime example of the chaos and beauty that can arise from a (sort of) simple feedback loop. We're all just random patterns that happened to resonate well with our surroundings, "surviving" to propogate clones of ourself with just slight differences. Differences that will eventually magnify and evolve into completely new patterns.
Society itself is nothing more than a living fractal. Interactions on the global scale caused by interactions on the regional scales caused by interactions on the local scale caused by interaction on the individual scale caused by interaction within your body caused by interactions on the molecular scale... and down on into infinite detail.
It's all quite amazing

The knowledge within zoology and psychology prepares you mentally to deal with life situations and tones your critical thinking and analysis skills.

Seriously, /sci/'s opinion on biology is invalid. They think the stuff they learn in intro courses is real biology. It's not like we do that for physics or chemistry. Just remember: You're a biologist. You deal in systems. You see how important all the sciences are and how they feed into each other. I've seen stuff in biology dragged up from information theory (See: Shannon index). It's awesome.
