Bullshit aside, is it possible for a "god" to even exist?

>> No.3448272

Not the omniscient or omnipowerful ones, or ones that know anything reasonable about the outcome of the big bang if they "set it off"

Yes
Until it is proven otherwise

Yes, they can. God is a result of man's imagination and fear of the inexplicable. As a thought, God does exist, just as love, hate, happiness, etc. exist.

This, and if you don't think this you aren't thinking like a scientist.
Now whether one exists and if it could exist are two completely different arguements

Define "god"

>> No.3448306

Yes, because lowercase 'g' is such a nebulous idea.

The word 'god' is too ill-defined to state definitively either way, but this is not true with 'God'.

He is a well defined entity and as such can be discredit in many ways.
