What do you think would happen to the world if we had easy access to infinite clean energy?

Speculation thread.

We could air condition the outdoors.

We have them, they're called solar, geothermal, and nuclear.

But they don't turn a profit for money-grabbing fat cats like coal and oil.

we'd kill uncivilized civilizations and build a socialist utopia.

We could potentially create infinite amount of gold. We could use the energy to power a nuclear reactor and synthesize gold from mercury/lead.

wouldn't that make indoors hot?

solar and geothermal are not feasible. for most of the world. Only in very sunny places like the Australian outback can solar energy be a large enough source. Geothermal energy only works in Iceland because heat is concentrated there. It is not in much of the world. Nuclear is only clean relative to things like coal and oil.

no. we could make all heat created by air conditioning the outdoors go to saunas and ovens and such.

I don't actually think it would change anything. The producer would still charge as much as they liked and not give a shit.

The only thing would be if it was a cheap, easy to build method so it could spread.

But then again, if that were the case it would soon be made illegal.

That is alot of heat. I'm not sure you understand the magnitude of that plan.

they would be very hot saunas.

I'd be pretty excited over the fact that we had a source of infinite energy, as we could travel at the speed of light with that infinite source

A sauna so hot not even god could sit in it?

We could build a bubble over the middle east and pump all of the heat into that bubble (at least now that we don't need their oil).

Sure is ignorance. Geothermal is fucking everywhere all you have to do is dig. Solar is very viable its just a matter of increasing efficiency and reducing cost. Nuclear energy could be thousands of times more efficient and clean than it currently is if we used reactors designed to make energy rather than produce plutonium for bombs.

Infinite human expansion

I bet that the Middle East would break into civil war with that news. It would be bad news for the world's stability. Knowing that... we would be better off for world stability with limited energy resources.

>>3445241

yeah and then who the fuck would want gold anymore? good idea buddy.

>implying you wouldn't wipe your ass with gold tissue if gold was infinite

>>3445380

i bet you think all sand niggers are born with a quran in one hand and a pack of C4 in the other.

i'll tell you what will happen. WE will stop fighting wars for the middle east's energy resources. WE will stop providing them with access to heavy weaponry to kill whoever opposes us.

how's that for world stability?
