Can I teach myself calculus with a textbook? Getting bored of pre-cal.

Teaching myself calc 3. If you're intelligent, shouldn't be too much of a problem. Use MIT Courseware too.

Yes! I tested out of Calculus I through the CLEP test with only Trigonometry under my belt.

It does require some diligence and hard work though. Took me about 3 weeks of studying and working problems 4 hours per day (learned about 1.5 sections a day).

I would highly recommend using khanacademy.org (scroll down and they have lessons and examples for just about every major Calc. I concept there is).

But yes with ~120 hours of studying/work I tested out of Calculus I, and I went on to get an A in my Calculus II class.
