Does anyone here have ferrofluid?

If so, where did you buy/how did you make it?

I'm looking into it but I want opinions on best method/place to acquire it.

bumping for interest. I too would like to know. Can you get a box set or something?

Surely one could make a fortune selling the stuff in kits with magnets

you sacrifice felsite to the magnet god, and the next day the magnet stork brings you a baby ferrofluid in a basket. it is now yours to nurture and protect

You can buy a kit off Amazon but it's relatively expensive for four ounces.

this

Toner fluid is ferromagnetic, if weaker than the high quality ferrofluid like pictured.

1) Buy fine iron oxide powder. You can buy the stuff they sell for making thermite.
2) Mix with oil of your choice.
