Can you explain this sum of vectors?

(6,7,8) = (1,2,3) + (1,1,1)

I would say that
(1,2,3) + (1,1,1,) = (2,3,4)

Maybe the proofreader just skipped it. It makes sense if you replace (1,1,1) with (3,3,3)
