This whole lie about "renewable energy"...
If you take energy from the wind, eventually the wind will get weaker and weaker until the wind just stop. Then you'll have to go to jupiter or neptune to find more wind.

>> No.3340881

it's worse than that OP.
some of the energy from the wind is transfered to the surface of the Earth, causing it to spin slower. In a couple years it'll stop turning entirely and we'll be all out of wind on a planet that has one side frozen and the other melted.

>> No.3340886

I always have wondered what effect this will have. If we have turbines we remove energy from the wind. Those wave generators, we remove energy from the oceans. It may seem insignificant, but it will all add up. How will this removal of energy affect the natural systems of Earth?

>> No.3340898

brain full of fuck ect.

>> No.3340905

I worry about solar energy as well.

If you keep taking sunlight from the sun, the light will get weaker and weaker until there isn't enough light left for the plants and we all die in eternal darkness.

>> No.3340918

>>3340905
Well more realistically, you are removing heat which would have been transferred to the Earth system.

>> No.3340925

>>3340886
That's a good question and it is insignificant. The amount of energy associated with atmospheric processes is fucking huge. Also what >>3340881 said if you arent so aspie you cant see past the sarcasm. All those tall buildings and cities we make also extract energy from the wind and transfer it to the ground via drag. We havent seen any problems nor do we have any reason to believe we ever will.

nah solar is ok because had you not put solar panels, the sun is still burning anyway

windmills do not create energy from wind.
In fact, they create the wind!
Think about it: When they stand still, there's no wind.

>> No.3340958

>>3340925
So we can just remove all the energy we want and it will never have any effect?
And you're also saying that we understand completely how every system on Earth works, so that we know we have caused no changes to said systems?

>> No.3340974

Its worse than you think OP.

Wind turbines are propellors. They'll push the earth out of its orbit, and then we'll freeze or burn to death.

I read soemthing about that a while back

Actually, did you know that since windmills are white, they actually speed up global warming because they reflect extra light onto the ground, heating it up.

>> No.3341032

let's see how long OP can go without flipping out.

what a bunch of jokers.

why don't we just use an air conditioner to stop global warming while we're at it.

problem solved

>> No.3341442

AHAHAHAHHAAHAHHAAH

Buildings do the same thing. So maybe we should stop making buildings? And clearly, these wind farms are tall enough to farm ALL THE WIND IN THE SKY.

No. Wind is basically a result of solar energy. Wind farms are pretty much harvesting energy from the sun.

I just realize that you're clearly a troll. Well, you sure got me.
