Factor 112 into 7*16

<span class="math">\sqrt{112}=\sqrt{(16)(7)}=\sqrt{16}\sqrt{7}=4\sqrt{7}
Thank you guys alot <3

>> No.3321807

sqrt(16) * sqrt(7) = sqrt(112)
4 * sqrt(7) = sqrt(112)

>> No.3321815

Factor it.

112 = 2*56
56 = 2*28
28 = 2*14
14 = 2*7

So, 112 = 2*2*2*2*7 = (2^2)(2^2)(7)

<span class="math"> \sqrt(112)
, using properties of square roots, can be rewritten as <span class="math"> \sqrt{(2^2)(2^2)(7)} = \sqrt{2^2} \sqrt{2^2} \sqrt{7}
Now, you just simplify.

as you can see, i had solved almost everything, i just didn't knew how to transform √112 into 4√7, that's 5º grade elementary school stuff and i forgot it, i also didn't remembered the subject to look after it.
