Hey /sci/ some faggot on /v/ said that " the law of sciences states that anything that can be created can be destroyed".

does this mean that you can destroy matter ?

>> No.3264088 [DELETED]

no, matter can't be created
/thread.

herpaderp

E=mc^2

Matter can be created from energy and vice versa.

How many times must we tell you to stfu and not reply to science question? Your fail rate is astronomical.

no u!
energy is matter
energy cant be created or destoryed
its fuckin gthermodynamics!
therefore matter cant be created or destoyed!
problem?

ok, so, can you actually destroy matter ?

That's how nuclear bombs work. All that energy comes from converting matter into energy. If you collected all of the matter from the bomb after it exploded, you would have less matter then when you started.

herp derp, matter can be TRANSFORMED into energy. this doesnt mean it can be created from nothing. matter IS energy. and neither of them can be created or destroyed. problem?

Yes, YOU CAN DESTROY MATTER
Yes, YOU CAN CREATE MATTER

Matter = an object with mass

Anyother questions?

That is a truly terrible card. Sometimes I wonder what Wizards are thinking, printing shit like that. Then I remember: They're thinking about all those millions of jewgolds.

Stfu with your armchair physics bullshit. Matter and energy are interconvertible but they are not the same thing. Having atoms of a given mass and having different atoms of lesser total mass with a shitload more energy are very different. When you convert matter to energy, you no longer have the matter. It's been "destroyed".

No one said anything about "from nothing" or "to nothing".

fucking troll cunt

are you fucking retared? converting the matter into energy doesnt make it 'destroyed'. you could potentially turn that energy back into matter again.
it CANNOT be destroyed.
and fuck you! dickface!
