>A young boy emerges from life-saving surgery with remarkable stories of his visit to heaven.

>Heaven Is for Real is the true story of the four-year old son of a small town Nebraska pastor who during emergency surgery slips from consciousness and enters heaven. He survives and begins talking about being able to look down and see the doctor operating and his dad praying in the waiting room. The family didn't know what to believe but soon the evidence was clear.

Colton said he met his miscarried sister, whom no one had told him about, and his great grandfather who died 30 years before Colton was born, then shared impossible-to-know details about each. He describes the horse that only Jesus could ride, about how "reaaally big" God and his chair are, and how the Holy Spirit "shoots down power" from heaven to help us.

>Told by the father, but often in Colton's own words, the disarmingly simple message is heaven is a real place, Jesus really loves children, and be ready, there is a coming last battle.

There is nothing suggesting any of the 'proof' was not invented by the father, if not at least twisted.

Hilarious how all his descriptions of heaven are identical to what is depicted in stereotypes.

The rest of it can just as easily be made up to exaggerate and hype the book.

Poor attempt overall.

His parents should have at least tried to be convincing about this scam.

I find it hilarious that his parent assumed that details he reveals about his family were "impossible-to-know". Did his parents really think it was "impossible" for him to know ? were they omniscient and knew every conversation everyone ever had with him ?

I personally do not, however, some people have an EXTREMELY loose definition of evidence. This kids story for example, is not. We have to take it on pure faith that the facts the claimed in this story were true.

I think its far more likely this is just another balloon boy, but with a smarter dad, and a better coached kid.

They probably exaggerated how little they told him and exaggerated how much the kid claimed to know.

Memories are easy to fool and alter. The kid probably knew a little, the parents told him it was nothing, the kid eventually believed that all the information he knew was gained from this experience. Then the parents would lead him on ("Grandpa said something about motorbike riding, I didn't know this until I went to heaven", "That's right Timmy! Your grandfather worked in a motorbike store! AMAZING. We've never told you this!")

Not even coincidental, because just about any detail could be contrived to be about something that was actually from his grandfathers life.

Of course, this is just speculation, maybe the parents just outright lied and the kid went along with it. Just another possible explanation.

>Colton is a very special little boy to have shared his beautiful and awesome experience of heaven with us. When one speaks of the "innocence of a child", this little guy's story is a true example of how Jesus' loving spirit works through the hearts and minds of so many children. I learn more lessons about life from these kids. The most remarkable part of Colton's story is that he confirmed what Jesus looks like via the story of the Lithuanian-American girl, Akiane who also at the age of four, started having visions of heaven and through these inspirations started to paint visions of heaven, one of which was of Jesus. Todd, Colton's dad is a minister and after Colton had this experience with his visit to heaven, if he came upon a picture of Jesus, he would ask Colton, "is this what Jesus looks like?". After Colton studied it, he would say "no, this one isn't it". But then, when his dad received an email from friends that told the story of Akiane and her art gallery, Todd called Colton to come look at this painting of Jesus on the screen of his computer and he asked Colton, "what's wrong with this picture of Jesus?" Colton, after a long hard study of it answered "nothing, this one is it". This just gave me goosebumps to now know what Jesus looks like. My sincere thanks to Colton and his family for sharing such a remarkable and loving story. It will no doubt bring people to open more to faith, hope and charity on their journey towards heaven. God's blessings on each of you.

So let me get this straight, sciencefags. You believe scientific papers because a bunch of people who study that area come to a general consensus, but you won't believe it when the same thing happens if religion is involved? Hypocrites much?
