just put (8x-5) where the x is in the f function

jesus christ this is essentially a fill-in-the-blanks question with one blank and a word bank

>> No.3217301

is f 6/x + 8 or 6/(x+8)

That's a good point.. I still can't do it..

6/((8x-5)+8

Do I distribute the 8?
or just subtract 5?

yeah... :'( g is supposed to be

(g)(x)= 7/8x

Oh, then it's C.

>> No.3217369

SO
that would mean

6/((7/8)+8)

I know I simplify by multiplying by the LCD.. what is the LCD here?

>> No.3217388

>>3217369
meant

6/((7/8x)+8)

>> No.3217400

LCD is 8x.
7/(8x) + 8 = (7+64x)/(8x)
