Its not that Newton was wrong, its that Einstein was more universal. Newton's theories correctly model the world in all but some extraordinary circumstances. Einstein's theories correctly model all that Newtons theories did, as well as the extraordinary circumstances. Einstein's theories themselves fail to predict the behaviour of singularities, so they too will likely be proceeded by slightly more universal theories.
