About to take a professional and supervised IQ test tomorrow.
Has anyone ever taken one and care to tell me what those are like?

Well when they ask to remove your penis from your pants, make sure you react fast.

Why do they do that?

>> No.3215069

the best way to do well on the test is to have a high iq.

I'm not gonna help you cheat on your IQ test.

Suffice it to say, it's a very important question.

I have an I.q. of 164.

Sorry, thought I'd get in quick before this thread turns bad.

I don't think so, Tim.

I've taken a professionaly administered one and really it's mostly just multiple-choice-solution puzzles (i.e. guess the next abstract pattern in the sequence) and word problems. I scored 152.

Judging by the fact that you're doing a diagnosticity fallacy, I wouldn't expect you being above the 130 mark, sorry. Making it clear for ya: it won't be by cheating the test that you'll become smarter. So just do your best, don't take CNS depressors and relax, faggot.

>> No.3215660

>diagnosticity fallacy
Which is?

>> No.3215699

"Making it clear for ya: it won't be by cheating the test that you'll become smarter."

Confusing a relationship that is diagnostic with one that is casualistic; i.e. thinking that changing a diagnosis would change what it is supposed to measure.

People will take, in theory, decisions about you using that same measurement, so it's to your interest that it is the most precise it can be.

>> No.3215728

>>3215699
I wasn't confusing the two, as I wasn't looking for ways to cheat on the test.

>> No.3215747

>>3215699
Wait a second, getting misdiagnosed won't change the actual intelligence level?

Get outta here!

>> No.3215759

ITT several low-esteem faggots who need to take an unverifiable measure of intelligence to feel smarter.

I did the Mensa entry test. It was just 40 or so typical IQ-test problems, a 3x3 matrix where you have to fill in one of the slots with the most logical answer. We didn't have a lot of time, only about two problems a minute or so if I recall correctly.

Managed to get a score of 135 with SD of 15 so I got to join Mensa. I didn't stay a member for very long as there wasn't any good benefits, and it's not like it's any fun bragging about so..
