Now show me yfw you find out that the man who discovered it named it "alumium", then changed it to "aluminum". It was someone writing to a non-scientific journal that refused to call it "aluminum" and referred to it arrogantly as "aluminium" instead.

IUPAC accepts both spellings. Now go focus on something that matters, you shallow cunt.

>mfw I spell "color" as "colour," "harbor" as "harbour," "theater" as "theatre," "center" as "centre"
>mfw when I ever spell a word like this on WoW or something of the such, I immediately get shit stormed from people for straying off from the American spelling of the words
>mfw this leads to other people saying "that's how the spell it in Europe"
>mfw that leads to people saying "this is an American server so you have to spell it the American way"
>mfw this'll descend into a "US vs. UK or EU" argument
>mfw that just leads to Americans try to argue and bash others about how superior they are to the rest of the world
>mfw I've been an American this whole time

Not quite sure when that habit of mine started though, I just started adding Us or words like "color" and "harbor" right out of the blue one day, and haven't been able to stop since. Except for "theatre" and "centre," there's just something about spelling them as "er" instead that makes them come off as much weaker words.

How we spell it is not wrong, cause thats what we do.

The real crime here is pronouncing pedophile as 'ped-o-file'
