Well... the heat might increase blood flow to your gumas and expand your gum tissues.

I don't know if that would allow you to get your brush in better though

and benefit you'd get from the heat killing bacteria would be moot if you used hot water right out of the tap - in most areas most of the hot water is still plumbed with lead pipes. Even if it isn't, have you seen the inside of your water heater after a few years (or decades) of use? I wouldn't want that anywhere near my mouth, thanks
