Let's make a bookshelf thread to see if there's anyone interesting around.

see I have this strange habit where I take my own notes from a book. Next give the book away to a friend, or sell it on amazon. Books don't stay in my collection.

I've held in my hand 7/12 of these books, read about 800 pages total. Hell I browsed through Weinberg I about 2 hours ago.

>EK, what have we learned last class?
Not to make useless comments and being disrespectful and keeping threads on a decent level?
>Good, and remember why you failed the test?
Because I can't stop posting useless comments...
>Very well. The important thing is you noticed. Tomorrow, we'll have a lecture on how to not abuse of memes and short slangs.

No dictionnary OP?

>> No.3189596

What I have in my office right now:
Theory of Superconductivity by Schrieffer
The Art of Electronics by Horowitz and Hill
Solid State physics by Ashcroft and Mermin
Introduction to Solid State Physics by Kittel
Mathematical Methods for Physicists by Arfken and Weber
An Introduction to Manifolds by Loring W. Tu

I have no idea what I have at home beyond some standard physics texts...there are 2 filled floor to ceiling bookshelves though [mostly paperback novels]. A third bookshelf half the height of the other two is filled with my collection of physics, math and CS textbooks and my fiancée's biology and chemistry textbooks.

>> No.3189610

>>3189526
Fuck you OP, flip that first book the other way. Can't stand that shit.

>> No.3189632

>>3189591
I prefer digital dictionaries with a search function.

>>3189596
Finally we are getting somewhere...

>> No.3189633

My bookshelf:

>a bunch of books on control theory
>a couple on mechanical vibration
>Strang's Linear Algebra and Applications and some complex analysis text
>some heat transfer, mechanics of materials, fluid mechanics, and other assorted MechE texts

not taking a picture because they're all packed up since i'm about to move.
