How would /sci/ feel about people wearing lil patches with their IQ score, to basically weed em out from the getgo.
Not trying to be elitist, below average people are fine, but seeing as I for one, kind of get trapped in conversations with idiots and I'm either too polite or too socially awkward to tell them to stfu.
This way I can just turn and walk the other damn way.
Same goes for chicks.. I got blindsided many times, by looks (not super model shit just cuteness and so forth) and stopped being objective (i drooled like a retard instead of listening to the "SHE`S AN IDIOT" alarm)

Maybe it's a dumb idea, but I just got out of a conversation in which a friend of mine's girlfriend was trying to explain relativity (she's an art major), then religion and so on, even though I kept trying to change the subject.

IQ is not a flawless way to measure intelligence. It's not even that good. I mean, Einstein had a 160 IQ, which is neat, and he was mad smart, but there's this little autistic 12 year old that /sci/ was creaming over for a while with a higher IQ than that. Which would you rather converse with?

IQ sucks. A smart person will tend to have a fairly high IQ, but I see little evidence that people with very high IQs tend to be very smart. Most of the ultra-high-IQ people I've heard about have been jackass failures.

It's only measuring something that loosely correlates to intelligence.
