Hey /sci/, I need your help. My mother-in-law is pretty dense and doesn't believe in evolution, nor that dinosaurs ever existed. Funny thing is that she isn't even religious. What are some easy to understand arguments to convince her otherwise?

okay, well, I'd ask her if she thinks there's variations in biological organisms of the same species, say, some people are taller etc. etc.
And she'll probably agree that those traits are hereditary as well.
and then ask her if she thinks it might be possible that some characteristics would be beneficial, ie, help you live longer, have more children and so on.

You get the idea.
