So I'm guessing everyone on /sci/ is a non-conformist who never buckles to peer pressure. Am I correct?

>if i agree with OP, i am in fact conforming with his view.
i see what you did there...

>> No.3093852

I'd like to point out that there's a difference between not caring about conforming and being a "nonconformist".

Feeling and succumbing to a pressure to NOT be like other people is just another kind of conforming. The self-confident don't care whether others follow the same path or not.

>Am I correct?

Figure it out for yourself.

You guess wrong, not everyone on /sci/ is a non-conformist. There are also those that buckle to peer pressure. There is also a sneaky thing where everything everyone says on /sci/ is automatically false, so we're all fucked.

>> No.3093863

Conform to what?

>> No.3093872

We buckle only to peer-review.

I don't see how prom could not be fun... I didn't try to make out with my date or get laid or anything and I still had a great time. I think you just don't know how to enjoy yourself.

It's not about the food or the music you retard, it's a societal right of passage that you will never be able to repeat.

While I am not affected in the slightest by peer pressure, some things that I do/some interests that I have coincide with interests of the "mainstream" because I just happen to like them
I don't see what the big deal is.

Grade 10
Teacher puts hard math problem on the boards and teacher asks all the students to answer the problem even though we hadnt been exposed to it before.
5 people in class give an answer including me.
Everyone else in the class votes on who's answer is right.
My answer gets no votes.
My answer is right!

For some reason I always seem to go by my own desires.

Whenever someone tries to pressure me into something that I wanted to do in the first place I have to rethink the situation all over again.

that sounds fun. I've never done it before.

how much time do they give you to calculate?
