As cultures begin to value education the birthrate starts to decline. This trend leads us to tow possible outcomes.

The world becomes educated and looses interest in having children and the human race dies out.

Or the uneducated, ignorant, and otherwise undesirable portions of the species thrive devolving humanity to a caveman like existence.

Why would becoming educated lead to lower birth rates (let alone no birth)

The world becomes educated and loses interest in having children and cures death.

Interesting proposition, that this is a causation relationship. I believe that you are mistaken from my limited knowledge. It has to do with subsistence farming, and requiring child labor, and access to contraception.

Hmm, if you mean correlation, which is a reasonable reading, then that /might/ be ok, maybe. I think it's still disingenuous to put it that way OP.

European countries and Russia have a declining population, even Singapore and Japan are having problems with declining birth rates.

Why would draconian divorce and custody laws make marriage, and even sex, unattractive?

Education you say?

>> No.3064993

to discuss this, we must make the a priori assumption that increased education, or even technological societies, are the superior strategy in current environments.

given the observations of Malthus, and ongoing human nihilism, I'd hazard the guess that the cavemen were better fit for survival, as are most retards and rednecks.

Yes, and? Correlation does not prove causation, and I disputed your causation claim. If you mean correlated only, then [citation please].

Asexual reproduction via tanks, populations kept at sustainable levels - sex allowed to be freed from the act of procreation. Education wheeeeee

Cultures valuing education causes the birthrate to decline, not decrease to zero. No matter how much people value education, the trend of birthrate decline will not continue. People will still fuck and have children, that should be fucking obvious.
