Some are at a predisposition to. See: Jewish population during the medieval ages with usury.

Really, like many have mentioned, social sciences cover a lot of the issues. Sociology makes very valid connections with Jewish immigrants having no true 'homeland' and so they are taught to work hard in any kind of economic environment.

Forgive me for I wasn't paying too close attention during intro. to sociology. Shit is fascinating though...especially crime rate in Japan.
