so /sci/ i have my AP calculus AB test coming up this week and i've done almost no studying for it.

What are my chances at this test for getting a 4 or 5?

>> No.2981521

I'm sure there will be at least that many questions.

Don't worry so much.

Uh dude...I've taken college calc and then reviewed some of the AP exam questions for calc. It's soooo much more difficult. Hope you were paying attention.

>> No.2981529

Are you good at calc? Then you'll probably do good. If you're bad at calc, you probably won't do good.

I'm decent at calc, but i tend to not always do well when it comes to tests. For example the calc book we use i can zoom through the problems most of the time, but when it comes to test day I either average a low A or do terrible and get a C or B

>> No.2981533

your odds of getting a 5 are near 100% if you actually understand calculus. if you have just been memorizing equations and such, outlook not good.

>> No.2981542

Has nothing to do with understanding calculus. It has all to do with understanding equations and when to apply them. That is ALL the AP exam (free response) seems to be: application of formulas ad nauseum.

I can compare my calc I final in college to the AP exam and go, "Holy shit I'm glad I didn't have to take this."

Then again I understand calculus (especially calc II which seems to give people such a hard time).

Insinuating that the AP exam tests knowledge of calculus is idiotic.

you need like a 65% to get a 5

last year there was 1 person in my entire class who didn't get a 5

BC fag here BTW
