Somewhat true. Tons of people bitched about them having old guys like Paul McCartney, the Stones, and the Who doing the SB halftime show, but when they got some younger performers (BEPs), everyone bitched about that as well.

People have a tendency to rely purely on fallacies when discussing things with no real "answer", or objectively determinable merits. That's the only reason why I consider boards like /tv/, or /mu/ to be fairly worthless beyond their value as a means for discovering new stuff.
