Well... I became a successful and respectably powerful man, for 25 years of age, in the simulation, I can do it again as a colonist (if there's anything habitable orbiting alpha centauri). Also, I'm familiar with the culture that sent me there, so that's good. I think I'll pick and choose what kind of society I want to set up and lead on this new world. I think I'll start a bar there too... with our own brewed beer (which the simulation taught me to do) and hookahs of dank weed for customers to order.

Also, I think I'll institute German as an official language and revive the tradition of Turnverein / Biergarten so we can all exercise, meet, socialize, eat, and drink in a pleasant setting on our new world.

I think I'll also try to develop an ecosystem suitable to my tastes. Since this is a new world and I have wicked technology, I can most likely terraform/ecoform it to my liking. Lots of flowering orchids, hummingbirds, parrots, some kind of engineered butterfly species to be the primary pollinator/insect on the planet. A ton of hallucinogenic fungi, engineered to be good decomposers. Ruggidized cannabis plants as common soil-fixing plants, lizards and geckos galore, highly colorful fish (like Malawi cichlids), lots of cephalopods, and some form of large domesticated monitor lizard as the top predator. I think genetically enlarged geckos would make for great mounts and riding animals. Give the riding geckos a hydrophobic skin like the pygmy gecko so they can be ridden across rivers and lakes.

Introduce some big cats, wild boar, ungulates, etc. as animals to hunt in the wilderness. I think I can do without birds of prey... we'll modify parrots to be birds of prey since they can be intelligent, sociable, and are ultimately evolved from a common ancestor with hawks anyway. Falconry with a talking bird would be a badass hobby/pastime. Introduce rabbits, mice as small mammal scavengers too...

Human citizens spend their days lazing away in beautiful gardens full of interesting engineered wildlife. The average citizen has a komodo dragon as a loyal pet/protector/hunting dog at the foot of the bed, a talking hawk/parrot for falconry, and a stable of giant geckos that can be ridden up the sides of mountains if need be.

Build cities as ecologically sustainable areas integrated with their environment. No streets, just canals/rivers dug by the robotic or uplifted ape laborers. Citizens get to work on electric gondolas. Cities are surrounded by large countryside plantations owned by the noble human lords and tended to by their serfs. Further out, there are game preserves and eco-formed wilderness.

As the feeling is restored to my body, heated biogel rejuvenating my cells after their prolonged dormancy and decay, the meager neurons that I've kept firing through sheer determination slowly reactivate their brethren. My intelligence doubles in moments. My capacity for abstract thought grows back into the more developed structure that it held before this centuries-long numbing. My memories flood back into my mind, as well as the experience and expertise of a 35th century man (though, obviously, it is now closer to the 48th).

I wake up, and before regaining the cultural frame of reference that defines my pre-cryonic self, my coma-dream personality screams, "I...AM...BATMAN!"
