A force of 34.68 multiplied by 10^-16 N acts on an unknown particle traveling at a 90 angle through a magnetic field. If the velocity of the particle is 5.65 multiplied by 104 m/s and the field is 3.2 multiplied by 10^-2 T, how many elementary charges does the particle carry? I cant figure this out for the life of me

I think the 104 is supposed to be 10^4

Well ... here I go .. doing homework again..
F = qvB
q = F/(vB)
divide q by elementary charge .. 1.6e-16

derp .. 1.6e-19

Just like that?

yup .... B field is 90 deg rite.... so no need for cross-products.
