Im fishing for interest. Would there be people willing to chip in to fund a FOIA requests on Nikola Tesla's documents that were seized by the US gov't after his death?

>> No.2864739

Sure, but how much do they cost?
I thought the total price was something like £50

>> No.2864750

It varies depending on the number of agencies and how much work is required, they require you to submit gross amount you are willing to supply in order to fund the gathering of the documents from the individual agencies.

I am not currently asking for funds, just merely getting a feeler for people interested.

"There is no centralized office that processes or coordinates Freedom of Information requests, so the requester must go directly to the appropriate agency. However, the Department of Justice does act as a centralized source for information about FOIA and for locating all federal government departments and agencies."
"However, the act does assign requesters to different categories in order to determine fees and fee waivers. Each agency sets its own fee schedule."
