What are /sci/'s thoughts on Neurology?

My thoughts? That things like cortical algorithms from Numenta Inc. and similar projects that create intelligent computer models based off of the neocortex will inevitably change the entire world.

Neurology is as legit as it gets. Unfortunately, it's slightly related to psychology, which is for the most part complete bullshit. Do not make the mistake of associate the two studies. They are very different.
