So I'm just about to start writing up my first college level maths paper but I'm wondering, what's a good program for writing maths notation? Everything I've tried so far's been a huge pain in the ass. Pic clearly unrelated.

What exactly does a college level maths paper involve? Do you just pick your favourite equation and write about it?

Latex all the way.

Works like a charm and makes everything look awesome by default (except for some rare special cases).
