Hey /sci/, oh don't mind me making a thread actually related to science/math.

i'm talking about legitimate chemistry that you do in a university research lab. i'm a chemfag. heard of one time at my school when the biology department needed some amphetamine to test on monkeys or something. chem department snythed it up, but only after getting a permit from the DEA.

I mixed about 3 tablespoons of bleach with 3 tablespoons of ammonia and left it in a cup in my apartment, because my aparentment smelled like shit, so I though the chlorine gas that formed would make it nice and clean and disinfect the carpet, but I just found out that mixing bleach and ammonia also makes hydrazine.

So how much hydrazine do you think was formed when I mixed them?
