On the other hand, I'm also not attracted to black people. Again, it has little to do with skin color I think. If their skin was white and everything about them remained the same I would still not find them attractive. For me it has to do with particular facial features, curly hair, which I generally dislike, and occasionally obnoxious attitude. These are things that I would dislike on people on any color.

This is known in my country too (Finland). Worried parents have tried to raise awareness of the issue. It's always been true that girls get better grades in school, but this hasn't been seen as a problem from the point of view of equality. Boys have generally had better opportunities later in life. But that's something of a cultural artefact, males were the bread earners, so it's natural boys would be more keen on a higher education. Over the decades that attitude has changed, both sexes are expected to be working. With the result that the tilt in the education system reaches into tertiary education. So there should be a vigorous debate on whether the traditional school system discriminates against boys and needs reforming.
