Nature and science are equally valid for tearing apart religion

>> No.2735777

uh...no.

science is based on the scientific method which at its core includes the notion of falsehood ( it is accepted that any premise/theory may be proven wrong in the future).

Religion doesn't accept the notion of falsehood..meaning religion doesn't allow it to be accepted that god may be shown one day not to exist.

I wouldn't have a problem with creationism if it could be presented with falsehood but that would be contradictory to the notion of belief...hence a paradox

Whether you accept that you may be wrong or not has no bearing on the validity of a theory.

Moderators, on *my* /sci/? It's less likely than you think!

MEMO: THERE ARE NO FUCKING MODERATORS ON /sci/. IF THERE WERE THEN THESE THREADS WOULD NOT LAST MORE THAN A FEW MINUTES.

Moot needs to pay minimum wage to moderators, or something to motivate them to not be lazy fucks, or get more moderators, or SOMETHING. It's completely rediculous, the way things work around here.
