This question is only for the /sci/entists who have done research.

If a alien race came to you with the proposition of either:
A) They could explain the universe and it's laws, completely to you, within seconds. They've discovered that it's deterministic in nature apart from what QM would have had us believe.

-or-

B) Your allowed to take ten other people of your choosing to a new world where food and water were in abundance. On this world you and your party would be able to live as long as you deemed necessary in order to discover the laws of the universe for yourselves.

(For B, they could also just leave you on Earth, but with food/water/life not being issues.)

What would you choose. A or B?

Given no cosmic dickery, like "you're incapable of comprehending the universe by yourself and are now immortal in a dead universe" I'd go with B, as long as I don't have to wash out the cumstains from the planet once I figure out the last missing piece.
