My "friend" is an idiot and says that if you could zoom in infinitely on a puddle you would eventually find a man taking a shower.

Specifically why is this bullshit?

>> No.2669963

Because you don't take showers in a puddle.
You take baths in a puddle.

>> No.2669966

Because you touch yourself at night.

/thread

>> No.2669985

If you could, you actually would.
As light reflects, it dims. When you zoom in, you enhance the light. In reality, there is a limit to how far you can go. But we're under the assumption that such a limit doesn't exist. So as you zoom in, you'll see light that reflected more and more. Due to the assumption of indefinite zooming, light cannot be quantified, as that would contradict the assumption. Statistically speaking, at least a watermolecule has been in a shower with some dude. As the photons dim indefinitely, without disappearing, we must be able to observe a extremely dim shower-man photons.

He wasn't taking anything like that into account, he was speaking from a philosophical perspective

It could be that you could zoom in infinitely on a brick and find an elephant in the grand prix, he was mainly talking about the prospect of "infinity"

Define "infinity" in any meaningful sense.

Then relate that definition to the bullshit you've just been blurting out.

All carbon atoms are the same size. There aren't any miniature carbon atoms to make up your friend's miniature shower man. Okay, maybe they exist and we just haven't found them, but you could say that about dragons, too.

This second point. You could argue that anything is anything, because we don't have a complete understanding of the universe. He's just picking and choosing what he wants to believe. Ask him for scientific evidence or something.

stop bumping your fail thread and shut the fuck up already.

If you can't explain to your friend why he's a complete fucktard I guess you're a complete fucktard, too.

So really you should be asking:
>/sci/, why am I such a fucktard?

I would say probably the result of environment, upbringing and all that, but then it's not really important why you're fucktarded now, is it? No, it's not.

It's just important you do the right thing and kill yourself immediately without hesitation.

I do you fucking turd. I just usually don't capitalize the first word of a posting.
It's a conscious decision, though I'm not sure why I do it.

I sometimes depart from it. But a post isn't something which deserves a beginning and an ending. It is vomited into existence and will leave this planet without anyone taking too much notice, like a rape-child.
Thus it should start abruptly, like the post started recording what I was typing in realtime and relayed it onto the internet.

my god you are a fucking nimrod, aren't you?

I consistently capitalize with the exception of the first word of a post which I will not capitalize just because it's the start of a sentence.
I don't capitalize "I" because it's the start of a sentence, you fucking idiot. I will capitalize it where ever it may occur, it's the way the word is spelled.

If you weren't a 12 year old prepubescent girl you'd probably be able to grasp that. But you'll get to the letter "i" in school very soon. (Do Americans even do the full alphabet in high school or is that reserved for college?)

"how and when *TO use them" sounds much better. Your English hurts, like you're translating word-for-word in your head some obscure subhuman language into English grammar.

1. I think you'll find that it's "got" for true native speakers, I don't use poncy American English.

2. At least you said please.
"(Do Americans even do the full alphabet in high school or is that reserved for college?)"
This doesn't constitute a sentence.
